The following are two archived posts I wrote. One was off a writing prompt in mid-January of 2019, another was a poem I wrote back in July 2019.
That day’s writing prompt was to write a story tell during a battle. To be frank with you, this was inspired from the infamous Hunger Games. Ha, I know right.
It is quite sad to think that it is very relevant to what we are currently facing, globally. Do stay safe wherever you are, friends.
For another sound of gun heard, another soul ceased from its mortal existence, with many grieving over their death.
Dead or alive?
A blessing or a curse?
Friend or foe?
Answers remain unveiled.
Nonetheless, here is to staying hopeful through the bottomless pit of what I thought to be the dark days,
and until then,
until the bright morning comes
July 25, 2019
Was taught to question
the how, what, why, where, when, who from an early age
Yet coincidence, would be an understatement for
people I get to see once in a while
places I was given the chance to explore
Best part of it all?
not in fully understanding the what ifs,
nor in having answers to the latter ones,
But in (but in imperfect sense) truly knowing Who ultimately holds the great unknowns
