Hey everyone! I’m Adisa. Welcome to my first post ever, which is basically a longer version of what I have written here.

Growing up, I am always a lover of words, people, and… food. A little bit about me, I am a 20 something-year-old, born and raised in the hustle-bustle of Jakarta, Indonesia. Later in life, I somehow ended up in the windy Melbourne where I spent a fair amount of time wearing three hats, as a uni student, a journalist, and a freelance copywriter. 

Today, I am back in square one, navigating my way as a Jakartan who works full-time, yet attempts to get my creative juices flowing on this passion project I call my blog. 

I have always wanted to write a blog ever since graduating from uni around October last year. The blog did not come around until this January when I decided to make a mere WordPress domain. I just always have this love-and-hate relationship with writing.

Then comes along March, when I felt quite homesick for Melbourne, which somehow results in having this longing to write. How odd, I know. Back then, you would typically find me buried in a 2000-word essay due for uni, or writing another article for the community magazine I used to work for. I just miss channeling the creative outlet I used to have, hence this blog is going to be exactly that. A passion project to keep my creative juices flowing.

Here in this space, I will be sharing reflections from seasons of life I experienced, wisdom imparted from wonderful people I get to do life with, perhaps a melancholy roar on how much I miss living in Melbourne? Because, what else is there to write about?

Mind you that in the past, I have abandoned three blogs that remain (unfortunately) scattered on the net to this very day. Let us all hope that this one will not end up like its predecessors. Here I am now with my first and hopefully not last entry! You may expect to see two entries each month. Thanks for stopping by! 😀
